Lombok Land Cruise Tour
Gunung Sari Market-Baun Pusuk forest
This program will be started at 08:00 AM after breakfast from your hotel in Lombok mainland. We will drive around 20 minutes to reach Gunung Sari village to visit traditional market. You can observe how the local people selling and buying here. You can also buy some fruits to give to the friendly monkey in Baun Pusuk forest. The Baun Pusuk can be reached from Gunung Sari in a view minutes. You can see many friendly monkeys here. They will be happy if the visitors bring some food or fruits for them. No worry, they are not aggressive like the monkeys in Sangeh Bali. From this area we can also enjoy the beautiful views of three Gilis (Gili Air, Gili Meno and Gili Trawangan).
Senaru – Sendang Gila waterfall
The next program is visiting the Sendang Gila waterfall in Senaru. We will drive around one and half hours from Baun Pusuk to Senaru. On the way drive to Senaru we will stop in a village to visit Lombok traditional house (Sasak house). You will find the original Lombok villagers here. Most of them can’t speak Bahasa Indonesia, they speak only with their mother language (Sasak Language). The children will be happy if you bring some candies or snack. After one and half hours drive we will find Senaru village where the Sendang Gila located. The local guide will accompany you to see the Sendang Gili waterfall. After take some pictures and enjoy the view of Sendang Gila waterfall we will back to the gate. The next program is lunch. It is done in local restaurant in Senaru, during enjoying the food and cool drink you can see the beautiful rice terrace of Senaru.
Sembalun village-Tete Batu
The ancient culture heritage of the first Islamic immigrants still has a close relationship with the Bayan and Senaru inhabitants. If we have the time we can visit also Sembalun village as the second trekking route to Mount Rinjani and Labuan Lombok where the traditional Phinisi Ship and typical house of the Bugis tribe exist. On the way back we will visit Tete Batu which +700 m high above sea level, which is a rich owning clove, coffees and vanilla plantations, and also rice paddy terrace.
