Komodo Island
Komodo Island is an island located on the East Nusa Tenggara province in Indonesia, with an area of 390 square kilometers with a population of more than two thousand people, the island is well known as the largest habitat of the Komodo dragon or lizard on Earth. That is why the island is known as the island of Komodo. Komodo archipelago consists of three major islands, Komodo, Rinca and Padar, and many smaller islands as well.
Komodo Island is a part of the Komodo National Park, this island is also popular destination for diving. Komodo added a sort of living legend. Komodo has been incorporated into the list of the New 7 Wonders of Nature controversial since November 2011.
Komodo Island is not only famous as a legacy of the inmates but also famous for its unique fauna roam, Komodo, which is the largest living lizard in the world, is also present on the island of Java deer, though they are not native. Other animals include buffalo, ferrets, parrots and monkeys. Komodo Island is also rich in marine life, if you dive you will see a very beautiful scenery, this place is one of the best dive sites in the world because it offers very spectacular underwater scenery, here are colorful coral, thousands of species exotic fish, sponges, dolphins, whales, green turtles, sharks and various types of rayfish. How to get there
These are several way to get into Komodo Island, are as follows:

By Air, There are numerous flight (Lion Air and Garuda Indonesia) to get to Komodo island from Bali or Lombok.

By Land, There are two accessed point to Komodo island. On the east part via Bima and the ferry goes from Sape harbor and from the west part is Labuhan Bajo the main port to Komodo island and other island around the Komodo.
