Mount Bromo is an active volcano and part of the Tengger area, in East Java, Indonesia. At 2,329 metres (7,641 ft) it is not the highest peak of Indonesian mountain, but is the most well known. The area is one of the most visited tourist attractions in East Java, Indnesia. The volcano belongs to the Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park.
Ijen plateau or known as “Kawah Ijen” is highly recommended to mountain buffs and hikers. The Plateau was at one time a huge active crater, 134 sq km in area. Today, Ijen is a quiet but active volcano, and the landscape is dominated by the volcanic cones of Ijen (2,368 asl) and Merapi (2,800 asl) on the northeastern edge of the Plateau, and Raung (3,332 asl) on the southwest corner.
Mt. Rinjani forms the second highest volcanic peak in Indonesia (3726 m), one of tourist destination in Lombok and also part of celebrated” Ring of Fire”. There is a huge crater containing a large green crescent-shaped lake, segara anak, which is about six km across at its widest point. There is series of natural hot springs on on the north-eastern side of the caldera.
Sulawesi has great topographical variety-spectacular mountains, scenic coastline, lakes, rice and dense jungles-and offer wonderful opportunities for travelers. Formerly known as Celebes, Sulawesi is shaped like a tropical orchid. It is Indonesia’s third-largest island with an area of 172,000 square km.
Komodo Island is part of the Lesser Sunda chain of islands and forms part of the Komodo National Park Particularly notable here is the native Komodo dragon In addition, the island is a popular destination for diving administratively, it is part of the East Nusa Tenggara.
Java have stunningly beautiful, from the air the island of Java is a patchwork of spectacular lush green vistas of terraced green rice fields, forests and tea and coffee plantations, climbing from valleys to mountain slopes. Imposing volcanic cones exhale wisps of smoke, and picturesque villages peek among the green.
